Lab of Applied Voice Analysis

The Lab of Applied Voice Analysis (LAVA)'s goal is to expand our knowledge of the sociodemographic characteristics, physiological sequelae, and cognitive-behavioral consequences of voice disorders to inform the development of novel and effective multidimensional approaches to voice therapy.

Currently, research projects focus on populations dealing with or at risk for long-term voice disorders, and more specifically Parkinson's disease.

A second focus is on the assessment and treatment of voice disorders in clinical practice and especially private practice voice clinics.
