With graduation season upon us, the Lab of Applied Voice Analysis had the opportunity to present preliminary research results to the Molloy University Community on multiple occasions.
First, I presented the preliminary results at Faculty Research Day, organized by the Molloy Faculty Scholarship and Academic Advancement Committee. The presentation highlighted some early results on acoustic and aerodynamic voice quality in people with Parkinson's disease. The questions and discussion after the presentation were very interesting, and I hope to continue those discussions with Molloy's faculty members.
Secondly, Hailey Troise, research assistant, had the opportunity to present her work on the same project twice: she presented a poster on Molloy University’s Third Annual Communication Sciences and Disorders Convention, as well as the Graduate/Doctoral Student Research Celebration. We appreciate everyone who passed by to talk about the research project and discuss questions. A beautiful way for Hailey to end her rotation in the Lab of Applied Voice Analysis!
