Alyn Calzada and Maria Sosa (undergraduate students) joined the lab this summer as part of the Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) program at Molloy University. Tonight, they successfully closed out their research experience during the CSTEP Research Colloquium and lab coat ceremony.

Alyn and Maria presented on their work on voice quality differences in bilingual speakers. Over the summer, they learned how to perform a systematic review and all about bilingualism and how it potentially impacts voice quality. Their hard work is currently being written up for publication, and more studies may be on the way - so stay tuned for that.
Many thanks to everyone involved in the CSTEP program at Molloy University for the wonderful opportunity and support.
